In 2021, The Northern California Scouts Association voted to dedicate its annual fundraising golf tournament to the memory of Gary Hughes. Gary was a long time scout and mentor to many in the area. His impact continues to be felt in the industry and he will forever be remembered for his positivity and spirit recognized in his coined salutation, “Keep Swinging”. Gary’s sons Sam and Rock Hughes, are pictured with the banner and both work in professional baseball.
