AC Tryouts
Each year, the Area Code Baseball selections begin with the Area Code Baseball Team Tryouts. The Area Code MLB teams will use the tryouts to select their final team that makes it to the Area Code Baseball Games. The Area Code Underclass teams will be selected from those tryouts as well as from a few of the underclass-specific tryouts on the schedule.
The Area Code Baseball Underclass Games will feature the top underclassmen from across the nation on seven different teams.

Area Code Games
The top 220+ high school baseball players from across the country in the class of 2025 and 2026 makeup eight regional teams to play in a five-day showcase in California. The rosters will feature the best baseball players from around the nation competing at the highest level, while being evaluated at the highest level. Scouts from all 30 Major League teams as well as top NCAA coaches will be in attendance.
This tournament serves as the beginning of a year-long interview process culminating with the Major League Baseball Draft the following summer.

Fall Scout League
The Scout league is sponsored in part by the Northern California Scouts Association run by major league baseball scouts and heavily attended by area as well as regional/national scouts. We assemble the area’s best prospects to ensure the utmost consideration for Major League Baseball’s upcoming Amateur Drafts. The brevity of the season is a conscious effort to prevent conflict with other programs and sports as well as provide needed rest in November and December.
Competition is designed to give participants an elite opportunity to showcase their skills in a quality, competitive environment.
