OUR HISTORY
The association was started in the late 1960’s by a group of area scouts led by Eddie Bockman. The organization was initially named The Professional Baseball Scouts of Northern California. Constituents were intent on promoting professional baseball within the communities it serves along with helping those in times of need.
The MLB organizations represented the original supporters. Founding fathers including but not limited to Eddie Bockman and Gary Hughes remain revered for their contributions and are honored annually at our annual golf tournament.
The association continues to thrive as the Northern California Scouts Association, embracing its origin and reveling in its rich history, while welcoming new generations of donors and the community’s continued generosity.
